Ten years of Gi60

One of my strangest – and strangely rewarding – projects of recent years has to be The Witch Bottle, a one-minute (yes, you read that right: 1 minute) play I wrote in 2010 for Gi60, the international one minute play festival held in the Viaduct Theatre at Dean Clough in Halifax and Brooklyn College in New York.

This cult event has now racked up ten years and hosts its celebration edition at Dean Clough this Thursday, June 5, from 7.30pm. There are 30 world premieres on offer plus 30 of the best plays from past years. It promises to be unique and hugely enjoyable. Book online at http://www.deanclough.com or by calling 01422 255 266. Tickets are £7.50 and £5.00.
