I’m putting the final touches to what will be my seventh book: FANTASTIQUE – Interviews with Horror, Sci-Fi & Fantasy Filmmakers, which will be published sometime in 2016.

As the title suggests it’s a collection of interviews in Q&A format with some giants of the genre plus some newcomers who are making waves. The names include George A. Romero, Quentin Tarantino, Wes Craven, Alejandro Amenabar, Barry Sonnenfeld (and Will Smith), John Carpenter and Tim Burton plus Christopher Nolan (and Christian Bale), Ben Wheatley and Andre Ovredal, director of the tremendous Troll Hunter.

One this one is off my desk I’ll be focusing on a new, updated edition of my 2005 book Beating the Devil – The Making of Night of the Demon for Tomahawk Press. The design will be by Steve Kirkham.

I’m also excited to be part of several other projects. I’m a contributor to ’70s Monster Memories by the publishers of We
