War… what is it good for?


Blasting the bad guys – actually the good guys – in The War I Knew.

The forthcoming first Fleapit UK Independent Film Festival (February 5-7 2016) is showcasing two movies by Manchester writer/director Ian Vernon. Alongside his 2010 feature Rebels Without a Clue will be The War I Knew, a tale of a band of British troops lost behind enemy lines in the days after the Allied invasion of Normandy in June 1944.

I’m proud to play a small role in the film, as a German NCO named Eisenberg. The film was shot over the hot summer of 2012 and has already played at several international festivals. Read more here
